Hi friends, sorry, I had so much work to do during the past few days that it was impossible to find some time for my blog.
These dancers of The Casino de Paris were supposed to be my carnival post…Don’t they look magnificent? I’m obsessed with these lavish stage outfits! Please excuse the image quality, but the costumes are just to good not to post them! via
KULTE COLORAMA
What a stunning arrangement that kulte is choosing for their Spring/Summer 2012 collection! Just this little button in the last picture is disturbing my eye! Perhaps it could be a nice little detail – placed somewhere else? No matter, it is just great to present the collection in this way! It reminds me a bit on the work of Maurice Scheltens and Liesbeth Abbenes – I was posting about it while ago.
THE ART OF INEZ AND VINOODH
I really adore this serie of pictures that was taken by the dutch duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for Vogue Paris!
“For over 25 years, the meticulous and audacious imagery of Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin has challenged and reinvigorated the field of fashion photography…“

LAUREN MOFFATT FALL 2012
Lauren Moffatt‘s Fall 2012 presentation must have been pretty! School girls wearing Moffatt’s designs while doodling in their notebooks. The wonderful Lincoln Taft was at the show – and you know what – she has got the best shots! Now I’m curious in any case to admire the entire collection!

EMBROIDERY PROJECTS
Since I discovered Maurizio Anzeri‘s work a while ago, I notice an increasing frequency of embroidered projects in the net. Here are some projects the young and upcoming photographer Ausra Osipaviciute did in collaboration with Milda Cergelyte (fashion design) and Gintare Pasakarnyte who did the needlework.

LOVE & LETTERPRESS
I’m a big fan of letterpress! We all may already know the amazing Studio on Fire. They recently printed this Whimsically Elegant Wedding Invitation designed by Scott Pfeiffer. Scott has also designed the invitations for his own wedding a few years ago – printed by the Fire Guys – of course.
I recently discoverd The Hungry Workshop, a Melbourne based letterpress studio. They print their own projects, and collaborate on projects with other creative people and agencies. These guys designed this beautiful Art Nouveau wedding invitation. Take a look at their great Valentine’s Day cards you can shop here.
